SUMMARY:Exceeding The Scribes
DESCRIPTION:Exceeding The Scribes.\nThe scribes and the pharisees are highly regarded by authorities as well as leaders in the ancienttimes. They are the scholars of the word of God. They are very knowledgeable in scriptures. They also interpret and apply the scriptures to events in many ways including\, presiding over and sentencing of any who erred against or from the faith. Their presence in public is usually greeted with reverence by all. They exhibit high spiritual self righteousness. Due to the above\ncharacteristics of the scribes and the pharisees\, the ministry of our Lord jesus faced constant criticism and rejection in many front. \nJesus could see their private life and all hidden sin that no one could see behind the veil. The self righteousness of the scribes and the pharisees is a vain service before God but men can only see their public services. \nFrom the Bible.\nMatthew 5:20.\n“For I say unto you\, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees\, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven”. \nFrom the above scripture\, we can see that Jesus would never want us to offer fruitless service. Whether in public or private\, our deeds are never hidden from God. Jesus clearly indulges us to put away hypocrisy which at the end profit us nothing before God. We must be justified first before God and there is nothing to prove to men. That is how Christian’s are expected to exceed the scribes and the pharisees. We are at peace\, if we know for a fact that our righteousness isn’t only approved of men but also accepted by God. \nFrom the Bible.\nFor the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness\, and peace\, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God\, and approved of men. Romans 14:17-18. \nApostle Paul was a man of no half measure in the service of God. In his words from the Bible\, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 3:14. \nStriving towards perfection is a Christian character. It is in our DNA to follow our God passionately with sincerity of heart and with the fear of God.\nIn conclusion\, we must exceed the scribes and the pharisees by our private and public life. \nMay your righteousness exceed that of the scribes and the pharisees in Jesus name.\nGod bless you brethren.

SUMMARY:The Role of the Church in Lockdown
DESCRIPTION:The Church Role in Lockdown. \nThe role of the church in offering a moral alternative opinion in every society should be consistent. Daniel revealed the mind of God to king Nebuchadnezzar\, Moses to king pharaoh\, Nehimiah to king Artarxerxes among many others. The will and plan of God can only be revealed by the church through the holy spirit in a time like this. (Corona virus lockdown). What is God saying to the church for the nations in this lockdown? \nThings will no longer be the same again. Social distancing has come to stay for how long? only God knows. Government across the globe will unanimously agree on new world regulations that will completely change human coexistence due to this pandemic. The unity of the church is most\nneeded now to speak the mind of God. Our relevance as the salt and light of the world should be exercised for a better world. \nAll church denominations must put away self gratification\, pride and hero worship which has become prevalent before the lockdown. We must come together in unity of the faith. The church leadership need the holy spirit to see and function in boldness like the apostles of the Bible. \nThe church must also remember that God has equipped the body and those that represent it in the frontline. \nFrom the Bible.\nAnd he gave some\, apostles; and some\, prophets; and some\, evangelists; and some\, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints\, for the work of the ministry\, for the edifying of the body of Christ:\nEphesians 4 : 11-12. \nMoses believed God’s words and went to speak to king pharaoh. \nFrom the Bible.\nI will send my fear before thee\, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come\, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.\nExodus 23 : 27. \nDaniel was able to reveal the truth to king Nebuchadnezzar because he is filled with the holy spirit and here is the king’s response after it all. \nFrom the Bible. \n“And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven\, and mine understanding returned unto me\, and I blessed the most High\, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever\, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion\, and his kingdom is from\ngeneration to generation”. Daniel 4 : 34. \nIn conclusion.\nThe church does not exist for itself but to support the government of the day in building a healthy society. That can only be done by constant interaction and intervention of the church leadership for the good interest of all. \nGod help us.

SUMMARY:What is Written is Written
DESCRIPTION:What is Written is Written.\nFrom the moment we are born again\, we journey towards our prophetic path of service (our purpose). We are no more canally minded but spiritually alive. We are new creatures and old things have passed away. We are now living in the divine redemption plan of God through Jesus. The spiritual nature we acquire automatically tune our prophetic antenna alive. We begin to live a double dimension of prophetic endowment. \nThe first is about our personal journey with God and the second is about God’s big plan for the future. We are privileged to see God’s eternal plan through the eyes of the spirit. The deeper relationship we have with God\, the more prophetic vision He will reveal to us. Our earthly father do sometimes single us out\, by saying “walk with me son” or daughter. In that walk\, secrets and future plans are shared with us. The prophetic visions of the future may include pain and gain.\nHowever\, God plans is always for our good. We become a vessel of honour and a prophetic mouthpiece of the Father. \nKing David saw the future when he wrote psalm 22. The psalm that prophesied the agony and anguish of our blessed Lord on the cross. The pain described in this psalm is metaphorically about David but literally about the messiah. The spirit of the Lord took King David into the future\,on a walk to see the messiah’s pain and anguish on the cross. The painful death of the cross wasn’t a Jewish punishment but Roman’s method of painful and slow death. The garment of\nJesus was parted and they cast lot on it. \nThey part my garments among them\, and cast lots upon my vesture.\nPsalm 22:18 \nOnly God could reveal this to David. Jesus knew that sticking to the father’s plan is the best\, because it was prophesied\, written and must be fulfilled. He said\,\n“If it be possible\, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will\, but as thou wilt.” Matthew 26:39. \nWe can also see that the psalm ended with the recognition of God’s will as supreme and better. King David rounded it up in verse 31 that generations will for ever be grateful for the atonement however painful. \nFrom the Bible\nThey shall come\, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born\, that he hath done this. Psalm 22:31. \nIt was prophesied\, written down and must be fulfilled. Authorities and powers tried to kill Jesus at birth just because it was prophesied and written. Every other attempt failed. At the end\, on the cross\, was written boldly written in three languages for all to see. An attempt to ridicule Jesus became a divine fulfillment of the prophecy of our blessed Lord. \nFrom the Bible\nAnd Pilate wrote a title\, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew\, and Greek\, and Latin. \nJohn 19:19-20. \nThe chief priest saw it\, understood that prophecy is being fulfilled\, he immediately moved to lobby pilate the king to change what was written. \n“Pilate answered\, What I have written I have written. John 19:22. \nNo one can erase your prophetic path with the Lord if you let His will prevail. What God has written concerning you\, He has written in Jesus name.\nGod bless you

SUMMARY:The Unknown God
DESCRIPTION:The Unknown God.\nMost civilisation hold the view that God is unknown and mysterious. The image of God has been depicted in different shapes and forms\, adorned with earthly treasures\, such as gold\, silver and bronze. The human race have also evolved through ages. Public worship of images created and mounted in temples for all to worship. Services are usually led by highly acclaimed priests and spiritual leaders. \nThere are severe and clear consequence for disobeying rules and regulations in worshipping the unknown God. Believers religiously follow their faith and wont spare anyone that stand in the way to oppose their God. \nA religious citadel in the city centre of Athens with an inscription\, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD\, is proudly displayed for all to see. Athens was at its peak of religious practice when apostle Paul preached there\, in the midst of judges in court (Mars hill). \nTo speak of another God can provoke the authorities and stir up violent protest which can result in prosecution and death sentence. Paul clearly was aware of this fact\, he was led by the Holy spirit to preach with wisdom about their unknown God. \nHe started by recognizing their devotions. He spoke of this same God sovereignty but rejected their superstitions. \nFrom the Bible.\nThen Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill\, and said\, Ye men of Athens\, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by\, and beheld your devotions\, I found an altar with this inscription\, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship\, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein\, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth\, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Acts 17 : 2 -24. \nApostle Paul avoided speaking against their God but spoke against their ignorance. Apostle Paul concluded the message by stating that\, the same unknown God is the same God who ordained Jesus and raised him from the dead. He saw people who zealously followed God without an encounter and therefore without any personal relationship. To that end\, the God is unknown to them. \nHe warned that the time of ignorance as an excuse is over. The unknown God has been clear enough through Jesus christ. \nFrom the Bible\,\nAnd the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: \nActs 17 : 30. \nDo you believe in God but have no personal relationship with Him? Is He still unknown to you like the people of Athens? Perhaps you yearn to know Him like Paul knew Him. It is the best decision anyone can ever make in life. Spend some time with Him by daily searching of the Bible scriptures. \nFrom the Bible\, \nAnd ye shall seek me\, and find me\, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29 : 13. \nBrethren\, may the unknown God become known to you in Jesus name.\nAmen
